The Doc Doctor is based in Lavonia, Georgia on beautiful Lake Hartwell. We are your local experts at boat dock repair and dock moving. We work on winches, cables, jacks, tires, and we offer dock moving services, and dock watch services.
The Doc Doctor was started in February 2007 by Richard & Gretchen with the idea to start a much needed dock watch service for Lake Hartwell residents. We started with 2000 business cards, sandwich bags and 2000 rocks. Each bag received a card and a rock and Gretchen and I drove the Lake dropping them in driveways.
The very next day our phone started ringing and has not stopped since! Turns out, we discovered residents also needed dock installation, service and repair so we added those services as well.
Since we began, the Doc Doctor has completed over 14,000 dock repairs and moves. Over the years, we have developed partnerships which allow us to give our customers the best prices, and best advice. We fix things others "can't" or "won't".
